District Council Meeting

The District Council Meeting (DCM) is an important gathering where District leaders, Club Presidents, and Vice Presidents Education come together to conduct District business and help shape the future of Toastmasters throughout the District. It provides an opportunity to share information, discuss important issues, review District progress, and make decisions that support the success of our clubs and members.

The District Council is the governing body of the District, giving every club a voice in important decisions. Club Presidents and Vice Presidents Education represent their clubs and help determine the direction and priorities of the District.

At these meetings, we make decisions affecting the whole District and every single club within it. We consider, discuss, and vote on important matters such as:

  • Approving the District Success Plan
  • Approving the District budget
  • Electing District Officers
  • Considering important District business and proposals
  • Approving club alignment and realignment
  • Reviewing progress toward District goals
